Our story
AFW has been part of Washington's LGBTQ+ Asian community landscape since 1984. The next chapter honors the happy hours, potlucks, movie nights, and friendships that came before while creating new ways to gather across generations.
Built by community, sustained by friendship, and renewed by people who still need a place to be fully seen.
Regional circles
AFW is DMV-rooted, with gatherings that can move through DC, Maryland, and Virginia.
